These are a small collection of my photo's taken from my summer in California.
I worked in San Francisco, and I lived in Berkeley. It's definitely time for a
return visit. It's the coolest place, the people are lovely, the sun shines all
the time. What more could you want?
I've put in thumbnails too, but I'll keep the ramblings from
1999 too, but adding a few updates. They're highly embarrassing in hindsight :)
So here's the first obvious one :
The Golden Gate Bridge
Then there's the view of the City and Alcatraz from the Golden Gate Bridge - The Bay
This is my house, 2313 Durant Avenue,
Berkeley. Fond memories of sitting on the stoop having some beers.
This is emily, myroomate...she rockes while
others just shake slightly! She's a special education teacher based in New
Orleans at the moment, but she's originally from Los Angeles. She now works in
Monteray.
These photo's are from my trip down to Mountain View to see The Lilith Fair. Renee and I had a brilliant time, and still
tell plenty of stories from that day :)
This is Simon And Gage. I met Simon and Danny
in O'Hare International Airport on the way to San Francisco, and we spent our 3
hours or so stop over together chatting, eventually discovering that Simon used
to live with my friend Aideen and he knew my bestest bud (or imaginary friend
as people have call her) Tain.
Brian and Alison: Alison came over about a
month after myself and Simon, Danny and Karen. She's a friend of Karen's. Brian
is from Seattle and again is another corporate trainer who worked
with us in San Francisco.
Lastly, this is Dave and Karen. Dave was one of my
managers in Sony Theatres. He's also from New Jersey and swore blind to me that
he had contacts with the mafia. I don't believe him though. Karen sat
beside me on the way from Chicago to San Francisco and we ended up sharing a room
in USF the first night we arrived. She lived on Ashbury street
with Alison and Alison's brother. They had one of those really cool wooden
houses 8)
